The Role:   In this position, you will lead our Sales/Account Management team to drive revenue growth through consistent delivery of renewals as well as expansion of existing accounts. Up to 25 % travel required.

Key responsibilities include:

  •  Developing strategies to maximize renewals and expand existing accounts in the College Admissions Space.
  •  Mentoring and leading an energetic, talented growing sales team, taking ownership of sales team results. 
  •  Ensuring outstanding follow through and cultivation of strong relationships with current accounts to maximize renewals.
  •  Working with the team to expand current accounts including up-selling through increased engagement on Cappex and our first generation college student recruiting solution to existing college admissions clients. 
  •  Serving as an expert resource for team members, assisting them with demonstrations and deal closing discussions
  •  Using Salesforce.com as a valuable resource to manage team pipeline activity.

 Requirements:

  • 5-7 years combined sales leadership experience managing a team and successful sales track record
  •  Bachelor's degree to effectively represent Cappex with college administrators
  •  Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills
  •  Outstanding written communication skills
  •  An entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to grow a business very aggressively
  • The desire to be a partner in growth, not just an employee
  • Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage the team's flow of new and existing accounts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a strong plus
